FAQ
ADP data solutions are available through the SSIS Integration Toolkit, and the JDBC Driver Pack. Real-time event processing with TFS can be streamlined with the Integration Gateway's highly flexible 'Custom Webhook' functionality by receiving standard webhook notifications.
Data can be retrieved from ADP using the ADP REST Source Component. The component allows you to select supported ADP objects and endpoints, apply filter parameters, control batch size, specify role-based access, handle time zones for datetime fields, and optionally mask sensitive data before passing it to downstream SSIS components.
The ADP REST Destination Component writes data to ADP by submitting REST requests based on the selected Destination Object and Action. The component supports batch processing where available and enables mapping SSIS input columns to ADP REST fields, including support for parent and child object relationships using multiple inputs.
Both the ADP REST Source and Destination components allow you to specify a Role Code such as Employee, Manager, Practitioner, Administrator, or Supervisor to control access permissions. Datetime values can also be normalized by specifying UTC or Local time zones for incoming or outgoing data.
The ADP REST Destination Component provides flexible error handling options including fail on error, redirect rows to error output, or ignore errors. Detailed error outputs and optional HTTP request and response diagnostics are available to support logging, auditing, and troubleshooting scenarios.
The JDBC Driver Pack allows Java applications to execute standard SQL-based queries, including SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and UPSERT, where supported by the underlying ADP API objects.
The Integration Gateway utilizes its Custom Webhooks feature to listen for immediate data change messages from ADP, instantly processing the event to keep data up-to-date across your connected systems.
