Microsoft Dataverse Integration

The Dataverse components are the components found within the SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics 365 that facilitate integration with Dataverse's Common Data Service platform.

Microsoft's Dataverse is built on the same framework as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM. Because of this, when you launch to Dataverse Source or Destination component, you will be presented with the same UI as our 365 CE/CRM components. You may refer to our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM documentation for how to configure these components.

The Dataverse Connection Manager will also look very similar to the Dynamics 365 CE/CRM Connection Manager, there are a few differences to note.

  • For the Service Endpoint SOAP 2007 and 2006 is not supported by Microsoft in Dataverse as the transition is moving towards RESTful connections.
  • For Active Directory On-Premises the Domain is an editable field as Dataverse serves as a central data platform for multiple applications, and designed around flexibility. The Domain field in Dataverse may be used in scenarios beyond CRM-specific use cases.
